Ordering & Shipping

We offer flat-rate $5 shipping on all orders via USPS Priority Mail.

All orders ship on Fridays. To make that week’s shipment, please place your order by Wednesday at 11:59 PM EST. Orders placed after that cutoff will ship the following Friday.

We currently ship anywhere in the U.S. All orders are mailed directly from our Baltimore production kitchen.

We ship all orders via USPS Priority Mail, which typically takes 2–3 business days to arrive once it’s in the mail and shipping on all orders is only $5!  You’ll receive a tracking link as soon as your package ships.

Sometimes, YES!  But not always.  When available, you’ll see a Local Pickup option at checkout -- and you will know the exact pickup address, date and time window before purchasing.

Product Info

Each mix is made from simple, high-quality ingredients: stone-ground cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and sea salt. No preservatives or artificial flavors — just old-fashioned goodness.

Just the basics! You’ll add eggs, milk (or a dairy-free substitute), and melted butter or oil. That’s it.

Yes! Our mix works beautifully for muffins. Divide the batter into a greased muffin tin and bake for about 15–20 minutes instead of the full pan time.

Store it in a cool, dry place. Once opened, seal tightly and use within a few weeks for best results.

Yes — it freezes beautifully. Let it cool completely, wrap it tightly, and freeze for up to 2 months. To reheat, place in a 300°F oven for about 10 minutes.

Our mix was created by a Baltimore-based pastry chef and made from the same recipe we serve to kids through our meal program. It bakes up fluffy, golden, and homemade-quality -- because we believe everyone deserves food made with love.

The Sunday Supper and Rise & Shine mixes are both vegan and bake up perfectly when you substitute plant-based ingredients for the suggested eggs and milk. The Sweet & Spicy mix contains buttermilk powder and is not vegan. 

Returns & Exchanges

Mixes (Food Products):

Because our mixes are food items, we can’t accept returns once they leave our facility.  If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please email sue@loveandcornbread.org within 3 days of receiving your order, and we’ll make it right with a replacement or refund if applicable.

Merchandise (Apparel & Accessories):

Because our merch is made in small batches and helps fund our community meals, we ask that you contact us within 3 days of delivery if there’s any issue with your order.  We’ll gladly replace or refund any item that arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.

  • Merchandise must be unused, unwashed, and unworn (tags attached, original packaging).
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item arrived damaged or we made an error.
  • Final sale items, custom pieces, and gift cards are not eligible for return.

We’ll replace or refund your order right away.

Refunds

If a refund is due, it will be issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days after your return or claim has been reviewed and approved.  Please note: Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Order Changes & Cancellations

We begin processing orders quickly. If you need to update or cancel, email sue@loveandcornbread.org as soon as possible.  We can’t guarantee changes once your order has been prepared for shipment.

Shipping Issues

If your package is marked “delivered” but you can’t find it, please check with neighbors or your local post office.  If you still need help, email sue@loveandcornbread.org and we’ll do our best to assist. Every purchase — mix or merch — helps us spread love, one pan at a time.  Thank you for supporting our mission.
